Truist Credit Cards & Rewards Program (2024)

Truist Financial is a massive financial services company spanning 16 states (including Washington, D.C.) with more than 2,000 branches dotted around the U.S. The company is the result of a 2019 merger between SunTrust Bank and BB&T.

In this guide, we’ll show you all the best rewards credit cards from Truist, as well as how to maximize the bank’s Truist Enjoy Rewards.

What Is Truist Enjoy Rewards?

Truist Enjoy Rewards is the umbrella term for any rewards earned from Truist Enjoy Rewards credit cards. There are 2 separate systems for Truist Enjoy Rewards:

  • Truist Enjoy Beyond Rewards

All Truist credit cards are issued by Visa, which is great because of their near-universal acceptance globally.

Truist Enjoy Rewards expire 5 years after they are earned.

Hot Tip: If you close your Truist cards, you’ll immediately forfeit your points, so make sure to use your rewards if you’re considering closing your card!

How To Redeem Truist Rewards Points

Let’s talk about Truist points. We’ll lump them all into 1 umbrella since the process for redeeming those points is fairly similar.

You can currently redeem your points for travel, cash-back, gift cards, and more.

Your rewards are redeemable through the online portal at cardrewards.truist.com or through the Truist Rewards Service Center at 800-255-7125.

The Rewards Service Center is open Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. EST, and on Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. EST. Just keep in mind that there’s a $25 redemption fee when calling the Rewards Service Center.

All redemptions are worth 1 cent per point, except in the instances where you receive a Loyalty Travel Bonus or Loyalty Rewards Bonus.

You must redeem a minimum of 2,500 points or miles in order to receive a statement credit, electronic deposit, or check.

Final Thoughts

Truist, formerly BB&T and SunTrust Bank, offers some pretty unfussy credit cards.

The most exciting aspect of Truist Rewards is that if you have a minimum deposit or investment account balance with them, you can earn up to 50% additional value from the Loyalty Travel Bonus or Loyalty Rewards Bonus, which would net you 1.5 cents per point!

Besides that, Truist only offers bare-minimum benefits under its Visa Signature identity.
