Joseph M. Morris of Paulsboro, NJ, passed away suddenly on August 11, 2014 at the age of 47. Legacy A jokester through and through, Joe was a fun loving guy who lived life to the fullest and was the life of a party. He enjoyed many outdoor sports such as skiing, jet skiing, mountain climbing, camping and canoeing. Joe was an avid photographer and made memories wherever he went. Born in Camden, NJ, Joe was a resident of Paulsboro. He was a 1985 graduate of Deptford High School and was an incinerator operator for the Gloucester County Utility Authority for 27 years. Joe was also a longtime member of the Westville VFW Post 2174, American Legion in Woodbury and the Elks Club in Deptford. Family Beloved brother of Linda King (Don), Vernon "Sonny" Herman, Anna "Beth" Herman, Deborah Farmer (Jim), Rosemarie Terreri (Louie), Nichole DiTizio (Mark) and Sharon Morris (Faith); loving son of the late, Edward and Virginia (nee Clifford) Morris; devoted uncle of many loving nieces, nephews and grand nieces and nephews. Joe was loving godfather of 4 and is also survived by many loving friends whom he loved like family. Farewell Ceremony Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Thursday, 1:00 PM at McGuinness Funeral Home, 34 Hunter Street, Woodbury, NJ, where Joe's Lifetime Celebration will follow at 3:00 PM. Joseph 'Joe' Morris, 86, of Enfield, beloved husband of 32 years of Josephine 'Josie' D. (Gleason) Morris, entered into eternal rest, Wednesday (August 13, 2008) at St. Francis Hospital, Hartford. He was born in Manhattan, NY May 10, 1922. Prior to his retirement, Joe had been employed for 53 years with ABB Combustion Engineering of Windsor. He loved wood working, building model ships and airplanes and played in the Setback League at Jiggy's for 30 years. Joe never called anyone by their real name, but instead, had a nickname for everyone. He was also known for quotes such as, 'Everything cost a dollar three eighty' or '10 ten gallon hats'. 'Your nickel' is how he answered the phone. An avid Yankees and Giants fan, he always provided three squares and a flop! Joe is survived by his children, Joseph Morris, Jr., Kenny Morris and wife Jennifer, Joyce Daigneau and husband Harold, Frank Cegelski and wife Lexi, Jane Brodtman and Debbie Petrone. He also leaves his grandchildren; Jennifer, Brian, Casey, Jay, K.J., Nick, Jennifer, Tyler and Hunter, along with great grandchildren, Cameron, Torre and Christian. Joe was predeceased by his first wife of 26 years, Mary Travali Morris, in February of 1974. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Claudia and Les Webb.
